DELIVERY FAQs

What are the prices for bulk delivery?
Download Sky’s current bulk price sheet for our complete bulk price list. Additional delivery charges apply to some neighborhoods (Seattle south of the Ship Canal, Mercer Island and the Eastside).

What is Sky’s minimum for bulk delivery?
The minimum for delivery depends on your neighborhood.

The following areas have a 3 cubic yard minimum:

  • Shoreline (all)
  • Lake Forest Park southwest of Ballinger Way only
  • Seattle north of 125th Street
  • SW Snohomish County—south of 196th, west of 44th Avenue West
    (parts of Edmonds/Lynnwood/Mountlake Terrace).

The following areas have a 5 cubic yard minimum:

  • Seattle between 125th (north) and the Ship Canal
  • Queen Anne, Magnolia, Capital Hill north of Mercer: $25 delivery fee
  • Northeast Lake Forest Park & Kenmore
  • Brier, north Edmonds, east Mountlake Terrace, most of Lynnwood
  • Bothell west of 405.

The following areas have a 10 cubic yard minimum:

  • Seattle south of Mercer but north of Jackson Street: $25 additional delivery fee
  • Kirkland: $45 additional delivery fee
  • Bellevue north of I-90, Redmond, Mercer Island: $75 additional delivery fee
  • Mill Creek, Bothell east of 405, Mukilteo, Everett west of I-5

Sky does not deliver south of downtown Seattle, north or east of downtown Everett, or east of Highway 9/Woodinville Redmond Road.

Can I combine products to make my delivery minimum?
It depends on whether you are willing to have the products mixed together.

Sky’s dump trucks have bins allowing us to deliver up to 3 separate products at one time. You need to make your neighborhood minimum on one product (or one bin); then it is a two-yard minimum on your second or third product (bin). Or, if you don’t mind the products getting mixed, you can combine products in one bin to make the minimum.

Example: a couple living in Wallingford (5 yard minimum) wants both soil and compost. If they are willing to have the soil and compost mixed, they can order 5 yards total of soil and compost. If they need the products kept separated, they need to order at least 5 yards of the first product and at least 2 of the second (7 yards total).
