Do-it-yourself
for Dads (and for other project piranhas)
Father's
Day arrives in June, and while Mom got lots of flowers and
a cool brunch for her day… Dad needs a project. Luckily
for him, Sky has just the thing. New this year at Sky is Raindrip
drip irrigation. Available in both kit and component form,
Raindrip is an easy to install, easy to use, efficient and
water-saving watering system.
Another
great project is installing your own greenhouse. Rion Greenhouses
are great twin wall hobby greenhouses. Available in a variety
of sizes, they are UPS shippable and can be erected in one
day. Come see the model in our rose field!
A
great complement to the Rion Greenhouse would be the Orcaboard
Raised Bed kits. Available in 2X8' through 4X8'
sizes and either 1 or 2 rails high, they are solid extruded
boards made of 100% recycled plastic in a variety of colored
finishes.
Paradise
low wattage outdoor lighting is a great way to enhance your
nightscape. These cast aluminum fixtures are available in
styles to match any garden. The display at Sky can give you
an idea how to brighten your yard.
Last,
but not least, is the wobbly garden seat. This is a garden
tool and exercise ball rolled into one. It consists of a tractor
style seat on a lightweight adjustable half ball base so you
can rock forward and back to reach into your garden beds.
It has an optional saddlebag for carrying garden tools.
