Fall Pond Maintenance

- Feed fish less, using a low-protein food. Stop feeding altogether by early November.

- Skim falling leaves; net pond if necessary.

- Check and flush mechanical filters often.

- Flush and winterize biofilter if desired.

- Take UV lights offline and winterize.

Remove tropical plants from pond, winterize and clean up marginals, lower lilies to deepest part of pond as foliage dies back.
