Sky’s New Store/Sky’s Old Store
"What’s going on with your old store? What’s going
on with your new store?"
...are the two questions we’ve been hearing the most this spring.

We are not tearing down our original store. Part of it is being used as warehouse space. The indoor gardening department remains where it was with the entrance moved to the back, by our pond and red bridge. The back of the old store has been turned into an open, but covered, display area for our statuary, fountains, and large containers. And the north end of the original building is now an indoor seminar area.
All of these wonders must be accessed through our new greenhouse. The main entrance to our new store has moved north, facing the new north parking lot. If you enter from Aurora, drive past the old building and around the corner of the new to access the new parking lot and main entrance. Or, you can enter directly from Midvale (turn onto Midvale at the police station on 185th, east of Aurora).
From the new, larger store several doors give access to the greenhouse, where you’ll find our perennials, annuals, color spots, and most edibles. From the greenhouse you cross the roadway to find most of the trees, shrubs, and vines. The information gazebo remains where it has always been, but we’ve added an information kiosk at the front entrance as well for your convenience. And since we’ve enlarged our retail space, we’ve scattered benches throughout the nursery so customers can rest their legs while admiring the displays.
So what will be next? Whisper it softly, but how about… a coffee bar!
