Plants Belong At…Work!

Indoor FoliageWe so often talk and write about plants in the home, about their health benefits and aesthetic value, that we tend to ignore the work place. Of course, my work place is filled with plants. I am surrounded by beauty: so many different textures and structures, leaf forms, colors, sweet scents of orchids, jasmine, citrus and other beauties. The air feels so good (especially on days we water) that my spirits are lifted just walking in. You too can enjoy this in your work place as well as your home.

Here are some other benefits of plants in the work environment (besides cleaning the air):

  • aid in directing traffic circulation
  • aesthetic appeal
  • improve morale
  • act as visual screens and sound diffusers, especially in open-plan space designs
  • help soften hard architectural surfaces and provide texture to non-descript surfaces
  • provide a human-scale factor and help articulate spatial volume

We have such a wide variety of choices. Our indoor gardening experts can help you find the plant that will suit you and your space (home, office, dorm room, class room, etc.) And what a great month to buy a plant...

ALL INDOOR PLANTS ARE 30% OFF FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER.

Indoor Gardening is still in the old location. Walk through our beautiful new store and greenhouse, keep heading south through our gorgeous nursery (beginning to show its fall colors) almost to the end, look to the west a bit, and there we are nestled in a peaceful oasis near the Koi pond amid fountains with running water and beautiful statuary.
