When do you have the best selection of pottery?

There are small imperfections in your pots. Why?

We admit it: our selection of outdoor pottery is not perfect.

And there’s a very good reason for that! While customers sometimes express concern about the variations they see in our pottery, we want you to know that each of these pieces is hand-made and one of a kind. Those “flaws” are actually one of the reasons we love carrying this pottery: They are signs of the human touch in a process that creates some of the highest quality containers and statuary around.

While we carry a lot of local plants, supplies, and art at Sky, our large containers make quite a journey to get here. We choose to buy these containers despite the additional challenges of shipping them because we believe in the quality of craftsmanship.

What can I plant in my container?

Depending on the size of the container, you can plant a LOT of things inside. It really depends on how much work you want to invest in maintaining the container. For example, most trees, shrubs and perennials will need root trimming or dividing with in a year or two of being planted. But, certain smaller perennials and grasses can live for years after being planted without needing additional care. Annuals of course, are the powerhouses of any container, adding color and repeating blooms.
